Here's a legendary Rolex Oyster Precision with an epic bluish-charcoal gilt-lettered mosaic dial and ... a rarity these days, its papers from 1976.
The dial is killer. It has a bluish tint in some lighting and really pops with the gold baton hands and markers and the gilt lettering. .
This is model 1550, a chunky 34.5mm wide, excluding the signed screw-crown, by 40mm from lug to lug. One tiny, barely noticeable ding on the crystal around the 6 marker.
The bezel and crown are gold shell, the rest of the watch is stainless steel.
Under the hood is by a 17-jewel automatic Caliber 1570 movement that keeps excellent time.
You don't see these gilt-dial watches with papers often. This one shows the watch was bought in 1976. Yes, it's a classic. Grab it.
