Here's the legendary Omega Seamaster 300 from 1963.
This is the mainstay of any vintage Omega collection. Of ANY collection.
Unmolested case and dial. A solid 40mm across excluding the signed crown by 48mm from lug to lug.
As the photos show, the bezel insert has been obliterated with time, as is often the case with these watches. Does it detract from its appeal? Not a bit. It enhances the appeal, IMHO.
The Caliber 550 automatic movement keeps excellent time. The 20 million serial number dates this to 1963, among the first of its generation.
