Here's a vintage 1960s Fortis Army in black and khaki...a rugged survivor of war and peace.
Check out the jet-black dial, with a cool black radar-like grid pattern imbedded in the crystal.
This stainless steel behemoth, clad in what looks like a black PVD-like paint, is a massive 44mm across, excluding the signed crown...by 44mm from lug to massive lug. There are light scratches on the crystal and a bit of wear at points in the case. But believe us...this watch is a monster.
The 25 jewel Hi-Fi matic movement keeps excellent time.
The quick set date works perfectly; and gives the day in both English and French alternatively.
A rare vintage military watch from a company that has supplied military watches the world over.
