FOmega made many specatcular Speedmaster variations in the 1970s but none cooler than this. A mid-1970s Speedmaster TV screen, named, of course, for the shape of the case.

Check out the charcoal dial bristling with subdials... the airplane hand is a minute counter, by the way.

This is a massive , heavy beast, 38mm wide, excluding the signed crown, by 42mm from lug to lug.

Crystal is clear.

The original Omega heavy-link stainless steel bracelet fits a 7.25 inch wrist comfortably and it is magnificent. Extra link available for larger wrists.

The Caliber 1045 automatic movement is keeping excellent time, and all chrono functions work as they should. So does quickset day and date function.

You don't see these watches in this excellent condition very often.

This Mark V ruled the world before the Planet Oceans and other behemoths arrived. Guess what? It still rules.
