Here's a vintage 1970s Movado Datron HS 360 chronograph, arguably the first automatic chronograph, unarguably a classic, powered by the same movement as the first Rolex Daytonas.
Check out the mint, panda dial. No wonder this watch is a legend.
Classic dimensions: the solid stainless steel case is 38mm wide, excluding the unsigned crown...by 42mm from lug to burly lug...
The solid stainless steel case is good, with original polish...and just a scattering of microscratches throughout.
A word about the 31-jewel 3019PHC movement: It is the first high-beat chronograph movement, at 36,000 bph, which means that the second hand has a constant smooth sweep. It is keeping excellent time.
The quickset date feature works perfectly, as do all chronograph functions.
These Datrons are in hot demand. Find out why.
