Doxa fans, gather round: Here's a 1970s Doxa Sub 300T in Doxa Orange with the original beads-of-rice diver's bracelet.
Check out that orange Aqualung dial with black markers, all in excellent condition.
This is not for the faint of wrist. The case is a massive 42mm wide excluding the screw-down signed crown by 44mm from lug to massive lug.
A word about the crown: It works fine, screws down, but does not fully tighten.
This was no coddled safety-deposit box queen. The bezel has some light wear; the crystal has several scratches, particularly around the 1 and 2 mark. Close-up photos available on request.
None of this diminishes the rugged appeal of this classic. Just the opposite.
Huge bonus: This 300t comes with the original hard-to-find Doxa beads of rice stainless steel bracelet. It fits a 7.5 inch wrist comfortably and will stretch a bit further.
The Doxa 17-jewel movement keeps excellent time.
Get to know the legend, first hand.
