Here's the the legendary 1960s Favre Leuba Bathy 160 in orange.
This behemoth is a solid block of steel and cool.
Check out the deep orange bull's eye dial, with the black depth gauge, designed to register depths up to 160 feet...the submarine shaped minute hand...
The orange bezel is unidirectional.
The manual wind movement keeps excellent time.
This beast is not for the faint of wrist: 43mm across, excluding the unsigned screwdown crown, by 48mm from lug to lug.
This is no safety-deposit box dweller; it has seen some action. The dial has some peeling at the top, around the 10-11-12 markers.
The crystal has several scratches, as photos show. Certainly nothing to detract from the immense appeal of this classic.
Comes on an aftermarket stainless steel mesh band.
